So with the new (and final) season of The Sopranos just around the corner, I decided to jump the gun a bit and see if I could find some Sopranos ringtones. Luckily, it wasn’t too difficult and I managed to find the Sopranos ring tone over on the thumb play website (click here if you want to get the ringtone) fairly quickly. Good stuff! Love the Sopranos, and love the Sopranos ring tone even more
Aside from my love for the Sopranos ring tone (I’m kind of a ringtone buff) I am also looking forward to this new season. A lot of people really slammed the last season, but I didn’t think it was too bad, just not everything we’d anticipated and hoped for. We’ll see if in the end the Sopranos lives up to its hype that it has rightfully earned, particularly earlier in the series, or if it flops. I’m crossing my fingers hoping it’ll be a great finale to a great show. In the mean time, I’ll just hang out and enjoy my Sopranos ringtones

With the growing popularity of social networking sites like My Space, people are looking all over the place for ideas to make their individual site stand out among all the thousands of others. One of the ways people are accomplishing this is by finding cool sites that will help you post fun things like MySpace games and other stuff that is fun and interesting on your page. Most of these are free games where you basically just copy a bit of code and paste it on your My Space page and voilla, you have a game ready to go.
Some of these are cooler than others, and the ones I like best are the ones that offer arcade games . I have always been a big fan of arcades and this is a cool way to get to play some of your favorite games without actually getting in your car and driving to the arcade. On top of that, you can share the games with your friends so they can play too, so they can play a free online game, and on many of these arcades you can actually save high scores, etc., so that you can see who is the resident champion at a given game and how you yourself stand up to the competition.
The concept of putting a free online game on a website to get people to spend time there is not a new one. It has been around on many a forum site for literally years, but what is new is that you can now actually put them on your individual page at almost any of the major popular social networking websites and share them that way. Also, some of these new arcades offer really cool ones, like this maffia game I’ve been playing. This is a different concept because it is more personal and enables a larger number of people to actually host their own web based arcade without being a skilled web developer.

Well, Chad has convinced me to give things a second shot. As I mentioned in my previous post on the subject, Matt, Chris and I all quit playing poker online after our little taste of failure. I ended up out about $60, and Matt and Chris were both down $80 when we stopped playing last time. Chad was up $100, the bastard!
The actual reason that he was able to get me started again is just that he has some really cool bonus codes that I can use to get a huge poker bonus right off the bat. Like I said before, some poker bonuses are better than others, but this one seems to be pretty much the best I have seen so far. It double my initial deposit, and it also lets me play in a few major tournaments that have million dollar first place prizes for free. Am I the next Chris moneymaker?
Only time will tell
. To be honest, I’ll be content as long as Chad doesn’t win, just because he has been rubbing our embarrassing episodes of addiction and defeat in our faces for over a week now and I’m getting pretty sick of it. Lasting longer than him in a major tournament would make me feel a lot better about the whole incident, since now the score is pretty heavily stacked in Chad’s favor. I’m also making a big initial deposit on this poker site because of the bonus codes I’m able to use. I’m not going to give them out on the blog here because I don’t want to get anyone else sucked into anything, but you can check out the sites on your own and they are usually pretty forthcoming with their bonus codes, as that’s the main incentive that seems to get people to click the sign up button.

We’ve all been trying to get Chad to quit his love affair with online gaming. It’s either bingo, or it is Poker. He plays nonstop, even when we are all hanging out and watching TV or a movie. Finally, we (when I say we I mean Matt, Chris and I) thought we should give it a try and see if it’s as great as Chad makes it out to be. One thing I will say—it is very, very fun and addictive. I myself, even after all the criticism I dished out to Chad, couldn’t stop playing for a few days. But (luckily) for me, I wound up losing about $60 at which point I decided to stop playing just because my bankroll couldn’t really take it anymore.
Chad on the other hand sort of proved us wrong by consistently winning in tournaments. He hooked us up with some cool bonus codes that we all used, and those got us off to a good start, but even with all the casino bonus benefits Matt, Chris and I all ended up in the hole. Which reminds me—if anyone here is thinking of signing up an online poker site, you should really take a minute to find a good online casino bonus code so that you can start off with extra money. Some of them double your initial deposit, others let you enter tournaments for free, etc. etc.—it’s very cool stuff.
In the end though, Chad had the last laugh. We all told him to quit playing, but he got us to try it ourselves and all got addicted for a few days. Then we lost our money and finally quit because of that. He was winning while we were losing, so, following our logic, he didn’t really have any reason to quit playing.

Recently I added an online arcade system to one of my forum sites that lets the members play games online for free, and the scores are stored so the players can actually compete with each other. People have gotten really into it and there are tons of new games / high scores on a daily basis. I was surprised (at least to a certain extent) by what a huge hit the arcade was, so I started looking around online and found out that there are actually a huge number of websites that are entirely dedicated to free online arcade games and gaming.
When you think about it, it is a really cool idea. In the “old days,” you had to go to the arcade to get your game playing fix. Today, you just have to connect to the internet, type in the address of your favorite arcade site, and you are playing right away. Not only that, but as I mentioned before, most of these web sites actually let you play the arcade games for free, and store your results. I think it’s really pretty cool.
With that in mind I am considering launching a new free arcade site, but before I get myself too deeply involved I am going to ask around and see what other people think about the arcade sites in terms of being a profitable market niche. It seems to me that the sheer addictiveness of the games and competition associated with having your scores stored would make the arcade sites a huge hit. And, as most of us in the internet marketing world know, when something gets traffic there is always a way to monetize that traffic. Still, I want to scout things out a little bit and make sure I’m not just too far behind the curve on this one.

My roommate Chad and I have been hanging out at the apartment a lot lately while I work online and he looks for a job. He has been playing a lot of poker and stuff like that online, but lately he’s gotten more into bingo. It started when he heard from some ad that he could enter a free bingo tournament for cash prizes. He entered, and did fairly well. He didn’t win any cash, but he was close, and it was enough to get him hooked so he has been playing ever since.
At first he just used the site that he was linked to by the advertisement, which seemed to be pretty good, but lately he’s been finding a lot of new bingo sites that are trying to enter the market by offering amazing deals and cash prizes. I always thought that playing games like bingo, etc., online was a waste of time, but according to Chad he’s making quite a bit of cash and having fun while he does it. He sits with his laptop in the living room while we are watching TV or just hanging out and plays nonstop and seems to be having a great time.
I’m thinking about checking out myself, but I haven’t yet. Probably just because I haven’t had the time. Work has kept me so busy that Karla’s starting to get mad at me for being on the computer… she’s usually pretty good about that, so when she does get mad I know I’ve been working a little too much. To her anything online or on the computer with me is work, so I’ll probably wait a few weeks until things slow down or until she isn’t around (
) to start playing bingo at some of those sites Chad has been telling me about.

I realized something the other day when I was surfing the net for some information on making extra money. There are literally dozens of sites that advertise freebies. Some of them come with a price attached of course, things like purchase an entire bag of cosmetics and we’ll give you a free lip liner. But some of the sites actually do offer something for nothing.
I’m an almost bingo addict. I love the game. It’s simple, it’s fun and when lady luck is on your side, you can come away with a few extra dollars. Playing bingo online is extra fun because you can find a game to play anytime of the day or night.
Free bingo sites are even better. They let you sign up and play without having to give a credit card number. You can play an actual game of free bingo that rewards you if you win. Some of the sites have points systems that allow you to redeem accumulated points for great stuff.
Some of the other online free bingo sites reward you in cold, hard cash! Seriously, you can play bingo at home for free and end up winning money.
I was skeptical at first thinking how can these sites make any money if they aren’t charging people who are playing. But the money they are making is coming from the advertisers. So the more people playing, the more advertising revenue is coming in which means higher cash prices.
I like it so much more than going to one of those bingo halls. You know the ones, with the smokers and the one person who can never seem to understand the game – they yell “BINGO” at the wrong time and everyone gives them a look that could kill. You don’t get that online, ever, which already makes free bingo on the net a better choice.
